Lately I've been really counting my blessings and thank the Lord for my beautiful children, my sweet husband and the opportunity to be a mother. I love these pictures that CK took of Alexandra and I. We were sharing a cup of peppermint tea after church. We were racing to see who could slurp it the fastest....
can you guess who won? Little hog.

Mmm, I love peppermint tea...and it has been a long time since I've had some.
SO cute.
I'm doing the same actually. I'm trying to kick back... relax... not feel like I have to rush everywhere. Just enjoy my kids. I looked at Benson the other day and saw him older- ya know? I saw a little 12 year old in his face and it was weird! He's getting so big so fast.
I'm sorry you locked your keys in your car TWICE! See... my cell would have been in the car too! Guess it's better to prepare for that before it happens.
You cute tea sippers!!! And I love the car locking post - and am so impressed with all the pics to document it:)
Alex is such a cutie! I would be freak'n out if I locked my kids in the car, you look pretty calm. I don't deal well with stressful situations.
I think the last time I saw you, you were pregnant with this little gal! Hopefully I will get to get up there for the reunion again! I just wish it were Saturday, because I have to work on Fridays! My blog-kimboking.blogspot.com
Cute pictures! I love little moments like this with our kids. You are welcome to come over to our house anytime! Stop by when you are on one of your walks if you want...I'd love to see you!
I freaken love Alex soooooo much!!! I love the pic with you and her sipping the tea with your faces together. She is so dang cute! I love that she will hung everyone now. I need a Alex hug and kiss :)
Love the tea pics! Those are precious moments--the kids locked in the car--maybe not as much. I still think it's pretty funny! Good for you for keeping your cool.
You are such a cute Mom! Your children are darling too! miss you Mel!
Mel, these pics are the cuttest ever!!!! I love it! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one to lock my kids in the car. I did it last month at Jod's house. Onstar wouldn't help me cause I didn't have an "active" account. AAA was gonna take 45 min. So I finally called 911. Nolan was a popcycle when we finally got it unlocked cause the AC was on high!
Hey Mel! Glad I checked this out off your facebook! I'm not sure it this links up to mine by leaving you a comment, but check us out! Beautiful family.
We haven't even met your baby, or your house. You look beautiful. Thank goodness for blogs.
