Blessing Day

We blessed Samantha last Sunday, it was such a spiritual day for Chris and I. The blessing Chris gave Sam was so heartfelt and special. Chris really put alot of thought into it which means so much to me. It was so great to have all our family come out and support our newest addition.

Samantha Kate or 'mantha as Alex calls her.
Great Granpa and Grandma Searle, Grandma Julia, Grandpa Mont, Great Grandma and Grandpa Andrus. A four generation picture for Chris, on both sides! (How lucky he is.)
Big sister making sure the binky doesn't fall out during the picture.
Grandma Sue.
Hanging out with Grandpa Bob after an eventful day.

She is beautiful! Congrats! It has been fun to catch up with you guys on your blog. It has been a while since I've visited. Oh, and Happy Anniversary, too! (P.S. the best post-baby advice I got from our pediatrician was this: "Your ONLY job is to feed that baby. Everything else can be done by someone else." Words to live by. :)

Chris - just saw your post. We would love to hang out. I still have never met your cute wife! But we live in California! We'll be back in Utah in October sometime. Hopefully we can get together then! I am so happy though to be able to keep up with you through your blog. =)

MELANIE WEEKS! What an awesome surprise to get a comment from you. After hearing from Lisa Cannon and Brooke Sligting...I'm in heaven! It's so fun to hear from great friends from so long ago...

First of all, you look amazing, especially for just having a baby! And secondly, your girls are beautiful! Can you give me the secret to having girls? And then I'll give you the secret to having boys. :)

We miss UTAH! We almost moved back, but things didn't work out...which is ok, cuz we love it here in Dallas. Who all do you hear from/keep in touch with? Me? Not so many people...McKinley Oswald and Sean Stott. Heather Dunroe, too. Living away from home doesn't help.

Anyway...please keep in touch! This blogging thing is the better than a reunion!

Love ya!

Mel! I know, I know, I am retarded. I was so scared to drive with Claire for over 10 minutes in the car because she freaks out and I can't STAND just driving while she is screaming. She is a big fuss. Now, of course, I regret it. Especially because we won't make it to the fam reunion (Ben starts school that week) and Carolyn is always telling me all the things planned and everything I'm going to miss out on!!! It stinks.

Anyway, Sam looks SO SO cuddly and cute!
